I don't recommend a drug because it's new. I look at what the Phase 3 trial data says. I look at the overall survival numbers. The recommendation is based on what those numbers actually show, not what the conference presentations said last month.
I don't over-investigate or over-treat. I give the evidence-based recommendation, explain it plainly, and let you decide with full information. That's what I've always done.
